Candice Pillion is an associate attorney for Kyle Todd, P.C. Ms. Pillion has dedicated her life as a litigator to defending the rights of employees against abuses by corporate employers and workplace harassers. She began her career pursuing class action claims against employers in 2012, and now fights for justice on behalf of individuals who have been harassed on the job or unjustly discriminated against by their coworkers or employer.
Ms. Pillion began preparing for a career dedicated to service while studying at Loyola Law School. She served as a legal intern at the World Health Organization, helping to support the implementation and negotiation of components of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. Ms. Pillion also spent a summer supporting research and policy analysis regarding the implementation of plea bargaining in the criminal justice system of the former Republic of Georgia for the Tbilisi office of Transparency International. Ms. Pillion provided legal support for individuals or family members of those with cancer while an extern for the Cancer Legal Resource Center, and support for the Consumer Protection division of Public Counsel. She was an extern for the Hon. Margaret Morrow (Ret.) of the Central District of the U.S. District Court, as well as for the Consumer Protection division of the Office of the City Attorney of Los Angeles. When not on the job, Ms. Pillion enjoys cooking for a crowd, practicing her golf game, and finding new and increasingly-absurd nicknames for her dog, who is too deaf to hear them anyhow.
