A graduate from Cal State University, Los Angeles, Mimi received a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society. Prior to joining the Law Offices of Kyle Todd (LOKT), Mimi was actively involved in campaigning for women’s rights as president of the feminist club on campus, and student organizing as vice chair of the lobby committee, as well as writing as a staff reporter for the campus newspaper. Her passion for advocacy and interest in writing and policy led her to pursue a legal career in civil rights.
At LOKT, Mimi assists with the day-to-day functions of the law office, leading intake with potential clients, preparing and organizing legal documents, engaging as a communications liaison between the firm and the press and community organizations, and much more. As an aspiring attorney, Mimi hopes to follow in the footsteps of Mr. Todd and other civil rights lawyers in becoming the legal arm of the social justice movements.
In her spare time, Mimi supports and volunteers at the Garment Worker Center, LA for Choice, and various other community organizations for women’s, LGBTQ, and immigrant rights in Los Angeles. She enjoys watching Broadway musicals, hoards office supplies, and is an avid pug enthusiast.
