Discrimination Based on Religion

Religious discrimination civil rights violation is a highly punishable act. Religious discrimination against any individual is an offence based on the act on 1964. Religious faith is individual’s belief. No one has the right to comment on others religious faith. Discriminating a person based on religion is a punishable act. Forcing employees to participate in any religious activity is against the act. Religion freedom is one of the civil rights of the citizen. This freedom gives people the right to choose whatever they believe. If an employee is not hired or treated unfairly with religion as the reason then the person can file a case against that person under the civil rights act of the year 1964. If a person or employee is denied leave or time off for his religious function and if he is not granted with valid reason then the employers head has violated the civil rights of religious discrimination.

 

Civil rights act title seven helps in fighting against the religious discrimination. This law was bought and signed concerning the discrimination of people based on their religion.  The religious discrimination applies to firing and hiring practices, pay, training, promotion and other privileges. Neglecting a person in any associations such as friendship, marriage or schools is also forbidden under these federal laws of religious discrimination civil rights violation.  Harassing a person religiously with religious jokes, religious slurs, derogatory or offensive comments are punishable under this law. Segregating particular religious people in their working place and in dwelling place are highly forbidden by these laws. This civil right violation law for religious discrimination was brought to throw out the segregation and classification of people and bring unity among the people.
